E. P. Foster is a husband, father, U.S. Air Force veteran, and public servant who has spent more than thirty years working in corporate, nonprofit, and municipal finance.

He's not writing from the other side of anything. He's experienced failure, financial hardship, and the long, slow process of rebuilding. He writes from inside that process, not from a finish line.

He's the founder of Gentle Shepherd Media, host of the In The Middle Of All This podcast, and author of five nonfiction books exploring faith, finances, family, leadership, and the challenges of ordinary life.

His books include In The Middle Of All This, Standing Orders, Strong & Courageous, Woven, Not Broken, and Master the Mess.

He lives in New York's Capital Region with his wife.
